Hey there, everyone... this is actually my first time joining a forum of any kind so please have mercy on me, haha... ;;

I'm Alex, I'm a [predominantly] digital artist (I drew my avatar actually) & cosplayer. I first got into Yakuza back in September 2017; before then I had seen a couple Twitter mutuals get into it but I never really considered looking into it until then. Then, someone actually commissioned me to draw Kiryu, and I was like alright... this dude catches my interest so now I guess I have to see what Yakuza is all about.

Fast forward to now, and I can safely say that it's probably the best game series I've ever had the chance of experiencing. I thought it'd just end up being a side interest of mine, but it's kind of consumed me honestly. I knew I would like Kiryu but I never expected him to wind up becoming my top favorite fictional character of all time. You never see it coming, man. In fact, even though it sounds like a dumb idea to most people I plan on having my next tattoo be the kanji for his name. I already have another different series-related tattoo so why not?

Anyways... my main reason for joining is that I just want to be able to talk to others who like the series as much as I do, since none of my friends are anywhere near as into it as I am. I've played 0, Kiwami, 2, 3, 4, & 5; I'm currently still playing Kiwami 2. Haven't played 6 yet though since I'm just waiting for the English release.

I think that's it? My username is generally the same on other sites. I also run Daily Kiryu, if that's a relevant thing to include here.

I recently come across your work over Twitter (your current avatar, actually) you're very skilled. Your avatar is some of the best Yakuza artwork I've seen tbh, a very nice style.

This is why this place was created. I'm sure things will pick up even more around the release of Yakuza 6 and I hope you stick around!

Yo Alex, welcome to the forum! I have seen some of your art before and it's very very good. VERY good. Glad this is your first forum experience, I am sure everyone will be very welcoming and such, including myself. This isn't my first forum experience by any means but I am sure a lot of other newcomers to this forum will have the same story in that sense. If you have any questions or need help with anything at all please do feel free to contact me!

Also do you do commissions? I oughta cop that at some point..

Hello everyone, im so happy that a beautfiul forum like this has been made for us yakuza fans, some of you may have seen my tweets on my account named noragami, i have been a hardcore yakuza fan since i've became aware of the series but i didnt play the series until yakuza 0 came out simply because i didnt had a ps3 or ps2 back in the day and i was kinda a pc guy, but with finally jumping to ps4 getting into the yakuza franchise was the best exprience i've ever had playing a game, i quickly became obssesed with it because it was far better than i have expected it, i brought a second hand ps3 and played all the mainline games aside from yakuza 2 which is an old ps2 game, but i am looking forward to play yakuza 6 and yakuza kiwami 2 to complete my adventure and look forward to more. anyway glad to be here and hopefuly have a very good time with fellow yakuza fans
